At a recent oil change from a different shop they alerted me to a problem with a torn CV boot. At 31,000 miles this is unexpected. I obtained several second opinions, with most shops wanting to replace the axle for $$$$. Some research on YouTube indicated the boot could/should be replaced, which is exactly what Jon recommended. The price difference was huge!

Jon couldn’t find any damage to the boot on his inspection and we ended up not replacing it. I paid for his travel fee + labor.
